About Me
Hello, my name is Taylor Yates.
I’ve loved baking as long as I can remember.
Oftentimes in my youth you could find me in the kitchen, whipping up a box mix of brownies or cookies, or decorating one of my brothers’ birthday cakes. I never thought back then that I would be seeking this out as a career, but I really fell in love with it after my time baking for Publix. Truly my passion was sparked by baking items from frozen in their bakery department. Inspired by curiosity, I took to baking a variety of items from scratch in my home kitchen and decorating cakes for friends and family, and never stopped!
After discovering this interest I decided I wanted a bigger variety of experience in the bakery scene, so I left Publix for the overnight shift at Panera. While I did enjoy this position, I had made a decision.
I want to bake for my own business!
From there I pursued more knowledge and found the Baking and Pastry Specialist program at West Georgia Technical College in Newnan, GA. I completed that program with a 3.0 GPA and additionally a ServSafe Manager Certification.
All of this brought me here to bring you the best cakes, cupcakes, and cookies, 100% from scratch.
